Falkirk is a vibrant social town located in central Scotland. It is only several miles from the City of Stirling and about half way between Glasgow and Edinburgh. other towns and villages which are neaby include Grangemouth, Larbert, Stenhousemuir.
Falkirk town lies at the cross routes of the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Union Canal and is heavily part of Scotland's tourism industry. Local attractions include the Falkirk Wheel, Callendar House and remnants of the Antonine Wall. Soon to be a feature of the town is the Falkirk Helix, a new recreational area with walk and cycle paths with the main attraction being a new boat lift and extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal.
