As a foreigner, walking through the city with its enormous mountain-like walls and the feeling of the past… It’s actually nice to know some of the history of the city you’re spending your time in.
A very enjoyable walk. It was not too long, not too short and there were a lot of stories that stuck with me, which is good.
The history came alive at different points in the walk. So that’s a really good thing. I will never go through Broad Street the same way again, after ‘the hanging and chopping off heads’ story.
